Waspy by Leuma5

Waspy by Leuma5 One of the main reasons i made this blog was to meet other people who are into the same sounds as me, and help spread the sound of the underground per say. Heres a cute little tune that is very cutecore'ish sounding i'd say made by a new friend of mine representing the westcoast. He's got the heart of a junglist, but SKA sounds, nintendo, indie, influences. Look forward to hear more. Brrrap. enjoy.

Four Tet - Love Cry [DOWNLOAD LINK]

Spectrum Falls, Ital Tek

as the gypsy that i am

still do not have consistant access to a computer but ill just throw up some tunes ive been listening to through you tube for ur enjoyment that hope dope visuals. enjoy. live and love your life. and dont let anyone make ur reality anything other then beautiful because life is precious and we only get one to live. i dont usually get preachy on my blog but ive been through alot recently and want to spread the message to anyone else who has suffered like i have been.

and about the music iv sort of been drifting away from dubstep since its getting extremly mainstream and a little extra extra wobbly repetitive. am more into melodies, and atmospheric semi IDM semi weird. semi INTENSITY. so any proper producers out there who know what i mean send me some. brrrap. god bless.

Producer Snafu

snafu's bio quotes from his myspace page
"'my early Influences ranged from a lot of things; I was into a lot of numetal at first with the whole KoRn, SoulFly, Incubus. Primus and rage against the machine type deal when I was in high school (95-99) I was always looking for the hardest music I could fine with some proper lyrics with issues i could relate to, but I got to frustrated with every ones music not being able to relate to anyone but myself, I was introduced to the hardcore scene around 2000 when a friend of mine Halloway invited me to a rave. This rave was the first although I had claimed to be a raver back in jr. high although I never attended any raves, my sister was part of a party crew by the name of RoR (realm of reality) and I had access to all these cool old school remixes that she would get from her friend doc chaos so I knew some what to expect, Well when we had attended this rave I was oblivious as to what to expect, I shore as hell wasnt into the trance and I was digging the drum and bass but what caught my ear was the hardcore. Just the consistency of this pounding bass repeating in a 4x4 pattern was just so amusing, Halloway and I from that day declared our selfs fans of this hard beat style, Later on in the year my friend did some research for this and downloaded a program to produce by the name of Tuareg, I fucked around on it and made some beats but being a guitarist back in the day I wanted some melodies as well as just beats, so my friend had introduced me into this well known product called fruity loops I fucked with it and fell in love. this was the day I had became a producer, I was given the name producer snafu By a online friend of mine from soulseek the snafu is a war term used in world War II It an acronym for Situation Normal All Fucked Up I like to think that with the music I create thats what happens. I take a normal senario and fuck it up with some hard beats, I started off with the hardcore messing with some drum and bass then moving on to Breakcore and getting sad with chip tunes and idm. I like to experiment and have fun, the music I made has always been for me, and my friends, but mainly for myself to keep my sanity. . . . . ."

CUTECORE'S LOW DOWN:
i have been a fan of producer snafu's music for a very long time, along with being a good friend as well. i became familiar with his music during a very difficult period of my life, this was around the same time i was spinning speedcore/gabber being a very trouble angry girl who used hard bass and screaming synths to ease her pain. out of everything of that time that helped me through those years was listening to the fascinating breakcore that is producer snafu's sound. to this day still pay respects to his music by using the name CHRISTINA CUTECORE as my production/dj name. producer snafu had come out with a cutecore album back in the day, and is one of my favorite album till to this day.

Half-Step? DnB-Step? DrumStep?......Oh the UK and their crazy new genres....

I am always a sucker for new genres. A good friend of mine told me about a new genre thats started to make its way over to us americans called Half-Step. It doesn't suprise me that with how much Dubstep has started to blow up that producers would evolve this sound in another direction. Half-Step is for the dubstep fan who originated from being a junglist. So sorry all you reggae/dub heads. Half-step is basically taking jump-up drumnbass and taking it half bpm. So its alot slower then original drum and bass, but faster then the typical dubstep.

I know I know..... wtf is the difference you ask?? I am not sure but check it.......

goodbye DUBSTEP..hello WONKY????

yesterday i went out to brooklyn and started to really dig a new genre that seems to be coming on the scene. i went to see martin kemp, who is popular wonky dj from the UK. when i first heard the word wonky i thought it was another word to describe fidget wobble'ness. but its a whole genre in its self, it is called wonky because the drums follows no specific pattern, its sort of a mix of dubstep/minimal/techno/funky. wonky!!! my new obsession. watching martin kemp i really started to dig this new sound. always gotta keep progressing, and thats what i think wonky is its the future of dubstep and on and on and on. to all you people out there who say "that techno stuff sounds all the same" oh you are so wrong...constantly progressing and im feeling it.

Feisty Friday/// here to serve you a contrast of some chill pretty dubstepp...along with some dirty wobblin electro//@#

(me in one of my latest strange photoshoots by the cat)

Intense//Wobblin' Fidget. If fidget is your thing this tracks for you. I happen to really be digging fidget again recently. This track really hypes me up, I'm obsessed with the uplifting synth that leads in to a bangin journey of wobblin madness.

If you have ever heard any other Kill the Noise tracks, you know they have a distinct sound and this track definetly lives up to their name. The vocal samples are a bit whack if you ask me, but I DIE for anything new kill the noise sound, very good 2AM bangin track.

Caspa and Rusko slow it down for a change. This is a really pretty, soulful, emotional track...and you all know how I am a sucker for these....There is a pretty little melody that play alongside the dubstep dramatic drums.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this track. Not sure if I should even be posting if because it is a exclusive track I was given to review. But I can't fight the urge to share it. This is a seriously seductive, sexy, and alluring track. The jazzy sexpot female vocals really entrap you in this magical track. These are the ideal vocals for me, and the dubsteppin drums/ and bass carry it all together perfect.

Popof never lets me down. This track isn't the usual dubstep, fidget banger I would post. Its pretty basic electro, I just really like the guitar melody that leads into the whole electro'filled experience.

Introducing HKDS- HeLLen KeLLeN DisCO SqUaD

Check these guys out. A sheisty friend of mine is one of the members, and I knew he must make good music when I met him watching Steve Aoki, and saw his face each time the bass drop crazystyle Imeediatly i knew this guy knows wassa..... These guys are from puerto rico, and suprsingly they know whats up with the banging electro/rock out there.

HKDS Hellen Keller Disco Squad compossed by Franco Fidalgo master mind of the plot & Jesse E from Scmbags. Franco studied music since little kid. Playin fluently guitar, bass, piano and drums. As a young kid Franco played in lots of bands raised by the punk scene of Puerto Rico and Spain. Later introduced to Drum & Bass , Francisco got hooked and shined as a dj in the underground electronic scene of Puerto Rico. Jesse soon contacted Francisco as soon as he knew our styles matched. Soon we were rocking dancefloors in Puerto Rico with Dj dara, Paul van dyk, Le castle vania among other international artist. HKDS is not a genre. Is a movement. Defy musical genres breaking boundaries.

CUTECORES CRITIQUE: this track is quite sick...very good banger to thrown down to get people shakin their bunnies aka booty, but for me this is the head banging neck breaking kinda track. very dope for such a newbie on the scene. keep it up! really dig the evil laughin samples thrown in, definetly a good preparty track to get you hyped. check it...

woww..... i stop keep up for electro for a lil bit and return to hearing some SICK new stuff!! GET THESE TRACKS!

haha that name of this track caught my attention...comedy. was pleasantly suprised to hear a serious BANGER. this is some serious bass throbbing business right here. really can make you visualize a ghetto rave with speaker junkies banging there heads against the speakers, while people stepoff dance ahahha. i like it.....so will u...
Noize Generation- Ghetto Rave

after the under the sun track, kidda did i began to loose hope in him. but this TLGB remix really takes it and puts a grimey twist on it, with some sass. vocal samples are very old school, contrasted with the crazy technology of the beats twisted your mind sicksick track.
